Vistara Intelligence

Product questions, answered plainly.

How ValueTower and Decision Intelligence work, where your teams retain control, and what an agreed production deployment requires.

Product questions

How the platforms fit your environment.

ValueTower and Vistara Decision Intelligence are in development. The operating model, integration and controls for production are agreed with each client.

Scope & ownership

Does ValueTower replace our tools or sell components separately?

No. ValueTower complements existing portfolio, delivery, service and reporting tools. ValueRadar is a view within ValueTower, rather than a separate product. The client retains its systems of record and program authority.

How do ValueTower and Decision Intelligence work together?

ValueTower supports decisions across a transformation program and its realized value. Decision Intelligence supports recurring business decisions within a function or line of business. Either can be used independently; where both apply, they can share approved evidence and governance principles without making one dependent on the other.

What belongs to Vistara, and what remains with the client?

The platforms organize decision context, options, evidence, approval history and outcome review within the agreed scope. The client owns its data, policies, delegated authority, source systems, operational decisions and final approvals.

Modules & decision behavior

Does Decision Intelligence require a Vistara module?

No. It can use client-approved recommendations from existing pricing, forecasting, planning or risk environments. A developing OptimaIQ module can provide a recommendation source when the client needs one.

How can modules work together across industries?

Modules can bring related signals into one decision view. A retail price choice, for example, may consider the promotion calendar and inventory position. Shared modules such as PortfolioOptimaIQ can support insurance and banking contexts, while each institution supplies its own data, policy and approval authority. A client can begin with one module.

Are decisions rule-based or AI-generated?

Eligibility, policy gates and approval rights use deterministic business rules. AI assistance can surface patterns, summarize records and explain options; those probabilistic outputs may be uncertain and require review. An authorized person makes the consequential decision; the system records the rationale and conditions.

Technology & assurance

Can the platforms operate without an LLM?

Yes. Governed workflows and rules do not depend on a language model. The platforms are LLM-agnostic and not tied to one model or provider. Where AI assistance is used, it runs on the client’s own approved LLM within the client’s boundary; any other model is used only with the client’s authorization. Model selection must fit the client’s approved security, data and human-oversight requirements.

How do they connect to existing applications?

The platforms are intended to be platform- and application-agnostic across approved cloud, on-premise or hybrid landscapes. Data exchange and actions are scoped through client-approved APIs, permissions and operating workflows; no wholesale replacement of existing applications is assumed.

How is our data protected?

A production deployment requires agreed encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, retention rules and audit trails within the client’s approved boundaries. Client data is not used to train Vistara models. These controls must be verified for the selected environment before production use.

Does the platform make us compliant?

It can help assemble evidence, route exceptions and show who reviewed and approved a decision. The institution remains responsible for interpreting applicable requirements, defining its controls and demonstrating compliance to its regulators.
